What to bring

Laundry is done at the camp twice a week. Comfortable walking shoes/boots and light clothes for walking are a must! Warm clothes (a light jacket), and gloves may be needed for the early morning and evening drives. Note: If flying into camp charter flight operator normally have a 25 kg (55 lb.) weight limit per person. It is advisable to have long sleeve shirts and long trousers (light tracksuit) to wear in the evening around the fire.

 - Good pair of hiking shoes/boots and comfortable strops
 - Hat
 - Bath sandals or "flip flops"
 - Malaria prophylaxis (check with your international health professional)
 - Prescription medications to cover the length of the trip plus extra days
 - Good camera, lots of film (If not digital) and spare batteries
 - Good pair of binoculars
 - Lens cleaner
 - Torch/ Flashlight
 - Mosquito and tsetse fly repellent
 - Sunblock
 - Sunglasses
 - Personal toiletries
 - Personal first aid kit / Dental first aid kit
 - Day pack/bag
 - Some cash (for time spent in town/airport & small currency for tips)
 - Alcoholic beverages / carbonated drinks as required (If booked for self-catering)
