Boat Cruises

Nothing beats slowly chugging up the Kafue River with the sun beginning to set. The sky changes from a deep blue to all shades of pink and purples; there is a drop in temperature brings relief from the heat of the day and with a cold drink in your hand you celebrate another wonderful day in Africa.

Animals are drinking from the banks and hippo's are actively calling and energetically frolicking in preparation of their departure from the river to their feeding grounds. Fish Eagles make use of the final light to catch that last prey before nesting up for the evening and call to potential mates, a sound so characteristic of Africa.
